I got a Mini disc player/recorder… I never got one when they were a thing. a couple of mates had them, but I got early on the iPod train and missed the awesome MD format completely. That was until about 5 years ago when I bought and ugly old large MD player for about 50 bucks, and some blanks to go with it.
Fast forward to last week, and I had not really thought of that, until I found an absolute bargain of a deal on an MD player, and Fight Club on DVD. so I bought both. then I went super future and bought some usb-c rechargeable AA batteries, and to my surprise, the player fired up without a hitch.
The only trick is, I dont have any MDs to play. I looked around on FB for a while, but didnt find anything that grabbed, but I did finally listing from Japan that had MDs in their cases, and with music already on them. Suffice to say I have never hit the purchase button quicker.
(thats a lie, there is no video game)
Im excited to explore MD more, and im really looking forward to blasting some older music in my 1985 Honda City when I get it running. going to put some mad carrozeria MD head unit it that bad boy.
